Hi, I’m Jill — founder of Jill’s Nook.

I grew up in rural central Iowa, where hard work was just part of life. I earned my first spending money detasseling corn in the summers, and I’ve been hustling ever since.

I’ve always loved two things: creating with my hands, and finding hidden treasures in secondhand shops.

Thrift stores have always been my happy place. I could spend hours browsing shelves, imagining the stories behind each little thing. And when I’m not treasure hunting, I’m usually crafting — turning something old into something new, or just making something from scratch for the fun of it.

I’m happily married, blessed with a couple of loyal (and spoiled) German shepherds, and I finally decided to turn my favorite hobbies into something bigger. That’s how Jill’s Nook was born — a cozy little shop where I get to share some of my favorite finds and creations with others.
